Allie

Talking to friends and other designers, I realised I wasn’t the only one who found whiteboarding interviews challenging. We knew practice could help, but there wasn’t an easy way to simulate a real interview and get useful feedback. That’s what led me to build Allie, a tool that helps designers prepare for whiteboarding rounds.

The idea for Allie came from my own experience. After graduating, I moved to Bangalore in search of a job. During my first few interviews, I struggled with whiteboarding because I hadn’t had much practice. So I started practising on my own, even using ChatGPT’s voice mode to simulate interviews.

That experience made me wonder what if practising for a whiteboarding interview could feel more like the real thing?
