About

My name is Harshvardhan Agarwal, a product designer based in Bengaluru, India.

I love all things design, development, and interaction. I often bring my CS background to work on fun side projects to bring my ideas to life.

Outside of design, I spend my time learning about physics, discovering new music and finding new biryani places. I also love talking about movies, boardgames, TV, video games, and one of my favourite series is “The Bear”, I wrote about my favourite characters and their arcs you can find it here.

My early journey into design started almost by accident. In my first year of college, I was doing hackathons with friends, and in one of them I ended up designing a basic UI for our project. It was simple and rough, but I still remember how exciting it felt to make an idea visible before it was built. That was probably the first time I felt pulled toward design.

After that, I kept following that feeling. I worked with a few early-stage startups through my college incubator, designing for different kinds of products and learning mostly by doing. A lot of that phase was rough wireframes, unfinished ideas, and figuring things out as we went, which I genuinely enjoyed.

Over time, that curiosity led me to Dive, where I got to design games for remote teams, and later to Setu, where learning about India Stack opened up a whole new interest in fintech for me.

That interest has stayed with me, and today I’m continuing that journey at Juspay.
